Botaniroots® products are expertly crafted by Salus Haus in Bruckmühl, a market town nestled in the Rosenheim district of Bavaria, Germany. Since its founding in 1916, Salus has dedicated over a century to producing wellness products that are rooted in traditional herbal practices, backed by modern scientific research, and inspired by a deep respect for nature. In 1995, Salus owner Otto Greither took a major step toward ecological preservation by purchasing one of the last natural alluvial forests in Bavaria. This precious floodplain hardwood forest, located near our headquarters, remains largely untouched and serves as a sanctuary for diverse wildlife and plant species.
Additionally, in 2010, Salus established an herb garden in collaboration with Lichtblick Hasenbergl, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and youth. This garden allows young participants to engage directly with nature—growing herbs, learning about nutrition, and experiencing the journey from plant to plate.
